Adrian Bruton, LICSW, ACSW, OSW-C is the inaugural lecturer for JHOFI’s Joe L. Revere Memorial Community Lecture on Cancer Health Disparities. Ms. Bruton studied and received a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Alabama, and a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2009. She has worked in a variety of settings, including inpatient mental health, a state corrections facility, and in hospital case management. Ms. Bruton is now the Outpatient Oncology Social Worker at the Providence Regional Cancer System in Olympia, Washington. She has certifications from the Academy of Certified Social Workers and the Board of Oncology Social Work. Ms. Bruton’s lecture is below. Please listen to it and share it with family and friends.
